I'll help and show a group picture of my sister's Brownie Troop, taken about 1986 / 7, I think.

As you can see, are not exactly the norm, but the above are not entirely wrong in their descriptions. However, a picture is worth a thousand words, as they say!

Brownie uniform in 1982 was still very traditional - brown dress, brown leather belt with a leather case. Cross-yellow tie with a silver badge on the promise Sixers, six of their specific "badge on the left the word" or "secondary bands" under "Record Voyage" (roads, highways, freeway, I think it was the classifications) on the right. Plaques of interest were in the right sleeve of the triangle (brown with yellow stitching) and duct tape was on the left sleeve. And yes, the brown woolly hat with a pom pom. Check ebay sometimes there are examples of old unitforms and badges.

When Brown was an acorn wool cap over her.
You do not need to know about the new badge cos it was not long in elves.

The dress was a sort of apron dress with a brown belt around the middle pocket elf left. The neckachief was bright yellow with a hold button under the collar of her dress in the back to make a cross on the forehead. The hat is brown knit pompom has.
The neckachief had me (a silver badge on it can not remember if the logo)
The sticker on the front of the right clothes was a distinctive color circulars, belonged to the group as mine .... That means a Kelpie
The section brownies had heard his left arm Bradford IE 112, etc.
The right arm was plates, which have won or purchased and triangular with rounded edges always brown with yellow ground on an issue that had won Flor say flower arrangements, etc.
